Height of entertainment while feeding is,let the lil brat  toss in some veggies in a skillet and stir for a while.(No kidding, she did this)

P.S: A post on the last widget/sidebar image coming soon.

P.S1: The last widget has moved up now.

Apple pie,it so lovely, and after 3.5 yrs it adds a special taste to it.Happened to taste it this friday from McD.

The cover cautions on ‘Hotness’,make a fresh feel of the pie.Hot Hot pie in your hands, just break that crunchy layer,a juicy apple with hint of cinnamon, just melts in mouth.Mix of crunching and juicy, makes a lovely taste feeling like heaven.

Thanks to DD for buying it,but i cant excuse for comparing it with Pazham pori( Nendra pazha Bajji), i know a lot of people who discriminate it by calling it as Apple Bajji, but its not fair, what do you say?

Finally, you are getting ready to go back to your home, sweet home.It was good to go out with you and i have always looked around for your appreciation,i mean only your appreciation.Even while amma and appa claps for me,i would get a satisfaction only after you clap.

Amma is wondering if i will miss you or not, even i don’t know what will happen.I really may not get that noon and evening trips to bus stand, amma will never take me.

I enjoyed lil fights between you and your daughter, and that day we searched for you.May be years later i will even fight with my father, not sure though.

You disliked this weather, you are annoyed with the temperature prevailing, small ailments too you had.Now i think you are glad going back to your home,to be with Ammamma and Chithi(aunty). Will you have a sense of missing me? Do tell amma about what you feel, she will definitely do a filler post about we missing or not each other.

Wishing you a safe journey back home.

On one of those lazy Fridays,we shredded laziness and been to Saudi Causeway and Oil museum here.

Saudi causeway was closed for maintenance, but Oil museum was entertaining, though small in size,it was full of information.

A friday evening Sunset

Ever since i came to know about Tulika books,i was dying to introduce it to her, have read some reviews earlier.

Though there was a option to buy online,i loved to have a feel before buying it,so on his Chennai trip DD has been advised to buy some, though i have suggested Fullcircle,he could not make it, due to lack of time and been to Landmark, only to find very few books and to find one for her age was bit tough since there was only fewer choices.

Well,he did bought this book ” Enge andha poonai”(in Tamil),by Rangasree Sreenivas and Manjula Padmanabhan. As stated earlier she doesn’t like story books, also this book is for ages 3 and up.

But without a hesitation we started reading it for her, surprise she listened completely for the first time. She was ultra fancied by the lively pics. She was repeatedly going on through it.

I was amazed by the way the pics are drawn, simply loved the continuity in pics, not only in following pages, but also in last page, where the first page pic is  continued.

Now this book has become her favorite,so when asked pick from her books, she undoubtedly picks this all the time. When i start as ‘Mini asked her amma ” Where is pooni”,she makes this action of  opening her hands on her sides, just like  the amma in that book do.

She loves those crows, parrot, cow and dog,and mimicks them.Tries driving like cars, scooters, auto and cycle, also points them correctly and utters something gibberish, and with this one book i can finish one session of feeding without big trouble.

Even Thatha loved this book.I should say it is brilliantly designed, vibrantly pictured, lovely scripted book fits even toddlers.Waiting for next chennai trip to grab much more from Tulika.
