My own Self

The pleasure of doing nothing, that has been my state for the previous month.Just going to office, coming back, reading some book and call it a day, pleasure of having amma around.Husbandlessness(Dont jump into wild imaginations,he is in India) has added to the laziness. The emptiness of having acheived nothing and remaining as a average jane haunts me every now and then, but am not doing anything  about it.

Lil one is having a ball, those tamil titles from last trip to India which were untouched, were dusted by Ammamma and ‘neela nari’ is the current favorite.Once a trip to school and i found her as a very sensitive child, that scares me.Ammaamma took the tour of her classroom as requested by her headmistress and we took some photos with ammamma in school.

Looking back i did skipped the month of July and October with no posts, yes zero posts.Infact i had thought to abandon the blog as such, literally no mojo to continue.I had abandoned so many thing, blog could get added to that list.As always i tell to myself ,blog often,am definitely missing recording too many beautiful moments.

I had not done any tags right from May,will do it in December, once am back from India.Yes,leaving to India this weekend and to a getaway from there, will keep posted.

Ani from Anisnest believes this blog has versatile properties and had awarded this “Versatile blogger award”.

Am much honored.Whenever i think versatility i remember Tamizh writer sujatha, may be there are lot others, but he is my favorite, who could discuss louis XIV furniture, wordsworth, puranaanooru, artificial intelligence, habeas corpus, chola dynasty all in one short story.

So here are some rules of that award,

RULES

1. Thank the person who awarded you and link back to them in your post
2. Tell 7 random facts about yourself
3. Pass the award

Random facts:

1. I was once a voracious reader, who will read while walking, doing household work, eating and while trying to sleep.I would borrow two books from library daily and would return it next morning,i have worried about Fridays because libraries are closed that day.Now i don’t get much time to read but still in the past 3 months i have managed to finish 5 books and currently reading one.

2. I have abandoned all my classes in middle, hindi, music and dance to name a few.

3.As a kid i disliked cabbage and amma would prepare it only on a friday,so that i will eat it while reading ‘Siruvarmalar“. And now i wonder how cabbage soup had become a staple diet these days.

4. Am very much a laid back person, when it comes to dressing up.

5. I have participated and won in lot of competition, all in my school life,in college i did not do much.

6. I have never tasted coffee or tea in my life time, except for some green tea rarely.

7. I would prefer to bake than to cook,i would highly appreciate if someone else can cook for me,especially, low fat,low carb, low cal and highly filling food.

Now passing this onto,

P.S: There are so many other bloggers to whom i would love to pass on this award, but they are all already covered by dear friend ani.

Sometimes when you confront someone with the truth you have found, you are suppressed?

Just because you are female, you are humiliated?

You cannot ask questions only because you belong to weaker sex?

You don’t even have basic rights only because you are women ?

They deny respect and equality for being a women?

The questions may continue further, but still there is no proper answer.Am extremely tired of being a women.

Not only one day today, all those days in which men feel negated because of his women’s absence and when he believes its women who make his day, then all those days qualify as women’s day.

Holding one day for women does no justice at all, since i believe all 365 days a year are made by them.

It is really tough comprehending the site/post stats you receive across the  comments you receive. For any blogger, there is a hearty moment to see the inclined stats and the ascending comments,am no exception.

Am not a big blogger, but still  believe i hold on to a constant set of miniscule readers. But sometimes i have a strong feeling that there are many lurkers around and few had delurked in certain occasion.

Now there is an eagerness in me to know how many lurkers are  around. So if you are regular or lurker can you pls raise your hand by leaving a comment,i would appreciate a lot.Thank you all in advance. 🙂 🙂

When you start a weight loss project(yes,i do it once in every month, and closure is always a week ahead) and

1.You have been invited for a party which has all your favorites.

2. An offer of tray full of free chocolates @ work place.

3. You make kuzhi paniyaram for rest of the family and you sit with a cereal bowl.

4. You have reminded of workouts when you are extremely tired out of a full day.

5. A pamphlet of new offers from pizza hut.
